Cathedral of Learning, University of Pittsburgh

The University of Pittsburgh was established in 1786 and is one of the United States' most distinguished and comprehensive universities. It is a member of the Association of American Universities, an association comprised of 61 prestigious doctorate-granting research institutions. The University of Pittsburgh enrolls approximately 32,000 students and employs 9600 faculty and staff. Among the more than 90 academic, research and administrative buildings on the University's main campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the 42-story Cathedral of Learning, one of the tallest academic buildings in the world. 

The Katz Graduate School of Business is highly experienced in international education. In 1988, Katz developed the first Western-style graduate business program in Central and Eastern Europe. Katz has helped to develop management education in Hungary, Russia, Slovakia and Poland. In Pittsburgh, Katz was in the first wave of schools to be designated by the U.S. Department of Education as an International Business Center for leading-edge international business research and curriculum development.
