As a Tech Lead C/C++ Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing new SDKs for existing codecs and C/C++ video processing solutions, as well as optimizing the performance of current solutions. Your responsibilities will span across multiple platforms (Windows, OSX, Linux, Web) and applications, ensuring that the latest versions of codecs are both accessible and performing at their best. Responsibilities and Duties Guiding the technical direction and standards of a team of engineers; Coding and ensuring the quality of team members deliverables; Shaping standards and best practices; Designing technical solutions; Supporting engineering process improvements and establishing best practices; Providing expert guidance to project teams across the organization; Cultivating a culture of technical excellence. Essential Skills Experienced in Modern C++ Development; Proficiency in using Microsoft Visual Studio for C++ or Apple Xcode; Experience in exploiting performance optimizations across all major modern platforms, including deep C/C++; Experience in Multithreading and Multiprocessor. Highly Desirable Skills Professional experience with video compression and processing technologies; Understanding and hands-on experience with video formats and modern codec designs; Experience with Adobe and Apple video-centric plug-in architectures, as well as WebCodecs, WebGL and/or WASM; DNxHD codec ("Digital Nonlinear Extensible High Definition").
