Apeel Sciences Sales team is charged with taking our technology to market and
effectively communicating the benefits and value to customers, suppliers, and
consumers in order to drive commercial success for the company. The Country Sales
Manager for Brazil will report to the Senior Director Commercial LATAM and will
own all sales efforts for all Apeel product categories in Brazil. You will be
tasked with generating leads and taking customers through the sales funnel as well
as managing the relationship and growing Apeel business with existing accounts in
the Brazilian market. In this role you will work closely with customers and close
commercial partnerships. This role may require an ability to travel up to 40%,
mostly domestically with some occasional international travel.
What Youll Do:
Own Brazil's sales plan, budget and yearly growth objectives
Be the go-to-person for Apeel Brazil to close deals and new supplier contracts
Own executive relationships with key supplier partners in the region, while
continuing to build on the value we can provide their business and collective
retail partners
Create a global strategy and pipeline for our coating product and establish
long-term business relationships with targeted supplier partners
Provide comprehensive sales support and product marketing collaboration as the
subject matter expert on the market
Deliver against quotas ensuring company goals and objectives are met sustainably
Partner with Sales teams in the USA and EMEA region and provide sales support for
demand creation with prospects, existing accounts and other revenue opportunities
Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual global sales revenue
Work with Sales Operations and collaborate on structure, processes, dashboards and
reports on country performance
Prepare budgetary recommendations that meet organizational and departmental goals
and provide for effective management of resources
Inspire and build a culture of morale and engagement in the team
Provide coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to other
member of Apeel Brazil team
What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced and highly
entrepreneurial environment
Excellent track record guiding and closing complex deal negotiations and
partnerships
Experience selling post harvest solutions to growers, packers and marketers in
Peru
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Presentation skills at C-suite level
Proven capability to make timely and sound decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or other related
fields
Passion for Apeels mission of reducing food waste and providing abundance for all
Resourceful facilitator, proactive, with an ability to influence and develop
others
Effective and creative problem-solver
