As a Customer Facing Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the
gap between our cutting-edge data analytics solutions and our clients' business
needs. You will collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and customer
success teams to understand client requirements, demonstrate the value of our
products, and deliver tailored data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting
as a trusted advisor on data analytics solutions.
Requirement Gathering: Work closely with clients to understand their business
objectives, challenges, and data requirements.
Solution Development: Utilize your expertise in data science, machine learning,
and statistical analysis to develop customized solutions that address client
needs.
Prototyping and Demonstrations: Create prototypes and conduct demonstrations to
showcase the capabilities of our data analytics products and solutions.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients throughout the
implementation process, ensuring successful deployment and integration of our
solutions.
Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to
empower them with the knowledge and skills to leverage our products effectively.
Feedback Loop: Act as a conduit for client feedback, providing valuable insights
to our product development team to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science,
Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
Data Science Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and
statistical modeling techniques.
Programming Proficiency: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python,
R, or SQL.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
Portuguese and English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
Client-Focused: A customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding and
solving clients' business challenges.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams,
including sales, marketing, and product development.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a
proactive and creative approach to finding solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the
data science or analytics industry.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with industries such as finance, healthcare,
retail, or telecommunications.
Consulting Experience: Experience in a consulting or advisory role, providing
data-driven insights and recommendations to clients.
