Vaga de Environmental Permitting and Consenting Specialist

Airswift is seeking a Environmental Permitting and Consenting Specialist to work on a Contractor position in Rio de Janeiro with an Oil and Gas Company. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate permitting processes for all projects in Brazil. Assure the compliance to environmental conditions stablished in environmental permits and licenses Establish a good communication channel with projects BAs (EPI, PDP, REN, MMP). Manage contractors as environmental consultancies linked to permitting and consenting Liaise directly with environmental authorities as IBAMA, INEA and CETESB according to GL 0553. Ensure a good relationship with environmental authorities. Develop permitting plan and strategy for new projects Excellent knowledge of Brazilian environmental legislation and international best practices JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in environmental sciences (environmental engineering, geology, oceanography, biology) Master Degree is desirable Excellent communication skills Previous experience with external stakeholders management Solid experience with permitting process and environmental issues Fluent English and Portuguese Good knowledge of Equinor portfolio ABOUT AIRSWIFT Airswift serves as a strategic partner to our clients in STEM industries.
