We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Senior Social Media
Expert to lead the development and implementation of a global social media
operating model. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both
strategic and tactical social media operations, with a focus on refining
processes, training internal teams, and effectively managing change.
Responsibilities:
Global Social Media Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with
business objectives.
Lead the design and implementation of a unified global social media operating
model.
Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions for internal teams to enhance their social media
knowledge and capabilities.
Provide ongoing guidance to ensure teams are up-to-date with industry trends and
best practices.
Process Review and Optimization:
Review existing social media processes and workflows to identify areas for
improvement.
Implement optimized processes to streamline social media operations on a global
scale.
Being the main POC for all technical media solutions with platform partners
Driving social vehicle spend analysis on platform and regional levels to ensure
highest ROAS
Aligning with wider social intelligence pod to ensure best practice sharing and
alignment
Provides leadership and strategic direction to all social spend planning and
execution
Aligning with SME on other vehicles for planning and optimizing
Driving key strategic platform projects
Change Management:
Lead change management initiatives related to social media strategy and
operations.
Ensure seamless integration of new processes and strategies across diverse global
teams.
Platform Expertise:
Stay abreast of the latest developments in social media platforms and
technologies.
Provide insights on platform utilization and emerging trends to enhance the
company's social media presence.
Skills:
Proven Experience:
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing global social media
operational models.
Deep experience across all levels of Paid Social, including campaign building,
channel planning, channel strategy and measurement.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing in-house media buying processes, coupled
with a proven track record in contributing to organizational planning and
construction initiatives within the realm of media operations.
Change Management:
Strong change management skills with the ability to drive cultural shifts within
organizations.
Analytical Skills:
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and performance metrics for
continuous improvement.
Understanding of analytical tools and the utilization of them into digital
insights, enhancements, and their impact on strategy, planning and activation.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey
strategies and insights.
Qualifications:
Experience in social media marketing buying, or technical build with a track
record of measurable results
Bachelors or Masters degree in advertising, marketing or business program
Expert technical knowledge of all tier-one Dell prioritized platform partners
(Meta, Tiktok, Snapchat, Linkedin).
Excellent understanding of relevant market dynamics and technology
Working knowledge of the integration with additional tech stacks such as the
Google Marketing Platform and the adoption of platform measurement technologies
such as CAPI.
Strong negotiation skills, including internal cross-functional negotiation
experience
Strong organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across
functions and lines of business in a virtual organization with strong
communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Strong analytical skills & drive to grow innovation and change
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Additional Requirements:
Availability for working with teams in different timezones
Certification in relevant social media platforms and tools.
