TeeJet Technologies, a subsidiary of Spraying Systems Co, is currently seeking a
result driven Regional Sales Manager to expand their business in South America.
TeeJet Technologies is a worldwide market leader in the development and
manufacturing of application components, electronics, GPS Guidance used with
agricultural application equipment .
Job Description:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for executing a comprehensive
sales, marketing, and product strategy for the complete line of TeeJet
Technologies products. The Sales Representative will report to the South America
General Manager and be responsible for sales activities, including TeeJet brand
promotion, dealer development, product promotion, competitive comparison, and
product & technical support.
Key activities performed include:
· Business Strategy Development Define, refine, test and implement strategic
plans. These activities include market research, industry research, competitive
analysis, and customer needs assessment. Define key markets and customers within
the region.
· New Business Development Identify, build, and manage long-term relationships
with key customers involved in the sale of agricultural application equipment.
Determine individual customer needs. Initiate and complete proposals to gain
market share with these customers.
· Sales Targets Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the
season.
· Influencer Development -- Identify, build, and manage long-term relationships
with key influencers that shape the agricultural application equipment markets in
the region.
· Customer Support Expedite solutions for customer requests and complaints to
maximize satisfaction.
· Product Management Activities include opportunity assessment, customer
feedback, market research, identifying competitors, and pricing recommendations.
· Marketing Strategy Development Develop sound marketing strategies to win in
the marketplace. This will include value proposition development, product
positioning, pricing strategy, branding strategy, channel strategy, and promotion
strategy.
The position will require approximately 50-70% travel within South America.
Job Requirements:
A strong mechanical and educational aptitude to maintain and improve the
understanding of application and operation of all TeeJet Technologies products.
Four Year University degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture or related field
is required.
Experience in the agricultural industry
Strong leadership capabilities
Ability to present technical and sales presentations to large audiences
Partnership development (including negotiation) capabilities.
Self-motivated with ability to work in an unstructured environment (strong
operational mindset, decisive, with a 'get it done' and whatever it takes
mentality)
Strong analytical skills (experience building, evaluating and clearly presenting
complex business models is critical)
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be a team player with the ability to work in a large corporate environment
Excellent written and oral communications skills in Portuguese, Spanish and
English.
