Snapshot of Key Accountabilities:
As the Global Partnerships Manager , you will have full responsibility for driving our business and improving and growing our revenue by fostering relationships with existing suppliers, prospecting new suppliers and generating new product offerings. You are an enthusiast about the car rental market , allying your interest with the ability to extract crucial market information and insights to enhance our business. A data-driven profile is essential to connect with the competitive environment and our business goals. Key initiatives include:
Revenue:
Manage sales performance of all international rental companies, identifying
opportunities to increase revenue;
Manage and negotiate key account agreements that position Rentcars into the global
market;
Negotiate the commission conditions in order to increase final revenue;
Negotiate specific rates for each strategic source markets, based on product
competitiveness and ideal commissioning;
Monitor car rental market share and penetration, identifying opportunities that
better suit our customers' needs;
Monitor Web service system performance and share information that would help car
rental companies to minimize errors and reduce response time;
Monitor search no results deriving from lack of product availability and seek
solutions to reduce no results rates;
Manage performance of optional services and negotiate better conditions that would
improve the conversion rate, as well as increase revenue;
Analyze the car rental market and identify new business opportunities abroad;
Represent Rentcars to rental companies, at tourism trade fairs and important
events, both in Brazil and abroad;
Develop strategies to increase the business with the Marketing, Product and
Pricing teams and implement commercial best practices.
Coverage :
Oversee each new car rental company negotiation, ensuring that the agreed
conditions meet the predefined business rules;
Outline and map new partnerships according to Rentcars' International expansion;
Ensure that the IT integrations with new partners are performed and achieved
within the established deadlines and quality standards, being aware of
opportunities for improvement and time saving;
Negotiate Rentcars' expansion into different countries where there are car rental
companies operating and negotiate new payment methods;
Ensure continuous updating of stores and vehicle groups of car rental companies in
our different platforms;
Improve change alerts in order to have our records always up to date;
Assure registration of special offers provided by the car rental companies in the
shortest possible time.
Pricing and Competitiveness:
Monitor price among our competitors in their different sales channels, including
car rental companies themselves and develop actions that guarantee 100% price
equality;
Monitor car availability and guarantee the same availability in our channels;
Actively participate in the price/markup definition for markets in which we
operate with NET rate, focusing on improving our revenue and conversion
Define relevant criteria to be applied in artificial intelligence algorithms;
Develop, together with the financial, marketing and product teams, actions that
improve our services and make our offerings always attractive and competitive.
Scorecard e Reports:
Track scorecard of each car rental company portfolio, sharing information and
actively working to improve the overall performance including rate parity,
availability, WS performance, NPS, complaints and their SLA resolution, financial
status and commission payments;
Ensure that all relevant information, including performance reports, are shared
with partners in order to assist them in their market position and strategies
jointy with Rentcars' partnership.
Global Partnerships Information:
Report business development results to shareholders;
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile;
Report risk issues to the board of directors;
Alongside HR, review account managers benefits and implement bonus plans according
to performance;
Agreements Renewal and Internal Process:
Ensure that all Supplier Agreements comply with all legal and regulatory
requirements and are always current, up to date and properly archived;
Improve existing flows and develop new ones aiming the proper reflection of any
negotiated condition with the car rental companies.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Required:
Previous experience leading high performance teams;
Solid understanding of business development strategies related to commercial
negotiations and prospection;
A leader with both creative and analytic capabilities;
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities;
Experience in a services company, preferably in Internet or/and in the car rental
market;
Fluent English and Portuguese is a must. Additional languages are highly
desirable;
University degree BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or
relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus;
Experience in Internet / e-commerce company and car rental market.
