ABOUT THE ROLE
VTEX is seeking an Internal Audit Junior Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment and will be responsible for helping to identify and
update our risk management cycle, support Internal Audits to assess if processes
are performed as designed, and suggest improvements, as well as assisting in other
administrative tasks such as translating documents, scheduling meetings, preparing
presentations, and others.
This multifaceted role involves a combination of organizational, communication,
and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of daily tasks and
projects. It is mandatory that you are a curious person, willing to learn, and
have soft skills to deal with many different people in Brazil and abroad.
As an Internal Audit Junior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:
Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Audit Plan (PAA), containing the audit
work to be carried out in the following year, by reviewing the main risks,
scheduling, and participating in interviews with executives.
Conduct audits according to the approved annual plan, within the agreed deadlines
and costs, with transparency, ethics, objectivity, professionalism, and
independence, with the aim of identifying and mitigating the company's main
weaknesses.
Communicate the risks and losses identified in the audit work to Audit Management,
audited areas, and senior management.
Support the identification and monitoring of Corporate Risks.
Follow up on the implementation of the action plans agreed in the audit and risk
reports.
ABOUT THE TEAM
You will be part of our Compliance and Audit area, which provides support,
knowledge, and review of VTEX processes to seek possible improvements to our
operations and to find out how we can deal even better with risks. You will work
directly with the Internal Audit team, receiving all the support you need to
develop essential skills to face the challenges and doubts that lie ahead.
WHO YOU ARE
Based in Rio de Janeiro and with availability to go to the office once a week.
Advanced English proficiency in writing, reading, and communication (will be
tested).
Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance/information technology or related fields.
Knowledge of mapping and understanding the process chain, including mapping processes in an end-to-end way (where the outputs are the following deliverables:
narratives, flowcharts, and Risk Control Matrix).
Knowledge of internal auditing and risk management.
Professional with at least 2 years of work experience within internal audit or
risk management.
Experience from Big4 is a plus.
Ability to communicate and influence a range of different internal and external
stakeholders and can flex their style based on the audience.
