Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This position will be responsible to support the implementation of the Life
Sciences strategy for Foods (with more focus on snacks) and Beverages categories
projects across LATAM South (Brazil, SoCo and Andean business) providing the
nutrition science into product and science based communication opportunities. And
Co-lead the Health Care Professional brand (Toddynho Levinho, Quaker, Kero Coco,
Gatorade and Popcorners) activation in Brazil.
Your Impact
As Life Science R&D Scientist your responsibilities would consist of:
- Execute the external activation for Health Care professionals for key brand in
Brazil to build/mantain a strong relationship between PEP brands and those
important consumers influencers.
- Coordinate the external agencies for HCP activation in Brazil guaranteeing
aligned with mkt, comms, R&D and LS.
- Translate the sciences and provide nutritional support the marketing team for
HCP communication to guarantee the robust and right scientific substantiation and
support the internal and external compliant avoiding legal problem for the
company.
- Coordinate HCP activiations in Brazil for Quaker, Kero Coco, Gatorade, Toddynho
and Popcorners.
- Represent the PepsiCo Life Science in external HCP discussions, events or
meetings always contribuiting and aligned with the PPGA and Regulatory teams
guaranteeing the scientific perspective avoiding critical external decisions that
could have a negative impact in PEP business.
- Provide nutritional support to the LATAM south snacks business and coordinate
the TSG and conssesions process for all countries across the 3 Bus (SoCo,Bra,
Adean).
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
- Be a nutritionist or have a speciality/experience in Nutrition/ Food Science
- Flexibility to work under pressure and changing priorities
- Speak English and Spanish
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Translates science for the business
- Possesses project management skills
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Have some experience in food industry or related
