Job Summary:
The Senior Infrastructure Network Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting and
enhancing the technology infrastructure network of the organization. This
individual is responsible for ensuring the network's efficient, secure, and
reliable operation and contributes to the development and improvement of the
network infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing and Maintaining Infrastructure:
You will oversee the company's network infrastructure, including the operation of
switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and other essential network devices.
Network Architecture:
Implementing and maintaining scalable and secure network architectures will be a
key part of your role.
Proactive Monitoring:
Conducting proactive network monitoring to identify and remedy any performance,
security, or availability concerns is crucial.
Collaboration:
You will work closely with both internal teams and external clients to plan and
execute updates and enhancements to the network infrastructure.
Security Policies:
Configuring and upholding network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and
intrusion detection systems, will be part of your responsibilities.
Senior-Level Support:
Providing advanced technical support to tackle complex network issues and devising
long-term solutions will be expected.
Documentation:
You will be responsible for accurately documenting network configurations,
operational procedures, and security policies.
Mentorship:
Offering guidance and technical support to junior network team members will also
be part of your role.
What We'll Expect From You:
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
is required. Holding relevant certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or their equivalents
is highly desirable.
Availability:
You must be available to work from 6 AM to 12 PM, Monday to Saturday, including
on-call shifts on Saturdays from 12 AM to 12 PM.
Expertise:
Demonstrated expertise in managing and maintaining complex corporate networks is
essential.
Technical Knowledge:
A deep understanding of network technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing
(OSPF, BGP), switching, firewalls, and network security is critical.
Experience:
Experience in administering next-generation firewalls, especially Fortinet, Palo
Alto, and Cisco ASA, is required.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for diagnosing and
resolving network issues efficiently.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively
interacting with both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
Teamwork and Independence:
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks
simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
On-Call Availability:
Must be willing to participate in on-call shifts and respond to network incidents
outside of regular business hours as needed.
Language:
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
