The Partnerships Manager will be based in our new office in Brasilia-DF and will become part of the Novo Nordisk Brazil Public Affairs team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Policy and Partnerships . The position will include key responsibilities in building and managing partnerships between Novo Nordisk and key stakeholders in Brazil such as private companies, civil society organisations, public sector organisations and authorities. The role will be responsible for structuring Novo Nordisks approach to building partnerships across different therapy areas (like diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular diseases) that support the policy change needed to improve the conditions for patients and the health system in Brasil. The role will require a solid understand of Brazilian health policy and the key stakeholders herein. Building trustworthy relationsships with external stakeholders and representaing Novo Nordisk externally, to the highest standards of compliance, ethics and transparency will be a key function of the role. The role requires diligent alignment of the partnership strategy with local and global business priorities, mobilizing cross-functionally with internal areas and a variety of societal stakeholders and potential partners; thoroughly monitoring, shaping and responding to local and external policies and regulations to support relevant business interests, while enhancing and protecting the reputation of the company. Reponsibilities · Strategic Engagement: Develop and execute partnership strategies to drive policy change, disease awareness and prioritiziation of disease areas such as diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease, forging lasting relationships with key stakeholders, while demonstrating the value Novo Nordisk can deliver to Brazilian health policy and society at large. · Ensure cross-functional and cross-company alignment with Headquarters (Denmark), International Operations/Regional Office (IO-RO LATAM), Manufacturing Plant (Montes Claros, MG), affiliates Corporate Affairs & Sustainability teams and critical functional areas (Legal & Compliance, Clinical-Medical-Regulatory-Quality Affairs, Market Access and Business Development) on relevant projects and to share relevant political insights and initiatives. · Monitoring and Analysis: Support the on-going monitoring and analysis of policy, political, and regulatory developments, offering timely analysis and recommendations internally. · Partnerships and Reputation: Foster partnerships with key entities, enhance and protect the company's reputation, ensuring alignment across functions and with global headquarters. Project Management: Oversee project development and outcomes, maintaining a database of actionable information, and managing external consultants and vendors when necessary. Qualifications · You hold a Bachelors degree in public policy, political/social sciences, international relations, law, economics, (or related fields). This person is expected to have fluent oral and written English. We expect a candidate with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, public policy, advocacy, government and institutional relations, or related fields. A Masters degree and experience in Project Management would be considered an asset. Experience from working in or closely with Brazilian policy organisations such as ministries, senate or other public instituations is desirable. Deadline Apply before April 13th, 2024.
