About the role
Our Process Engineering team, composed of 14 people, is integrated into the
Industrial Department and focuses on process improvement in collaboration with
other areas of the plant, like maintenance, Innovation and sustainability.
As a Process Engineer, you will work on the development and implementation of
industrial projects to improve processes, aiming to increase the efficiency of
production units, reduce the consumption of raw materials and utilities, and
increase capacity, to meet Road Map targets. Providing support to production with
a focus on maintaining continuous improvement in quality and operations, as well
as conducting studies in the areas of safety and the environment (QSSMA).
You will be accountable for:
Performing mass and energy balances for production units
Conducting studies and overseeing the execution of process improvement projects
with a focus on reducing specific consumption of steam and raw materials in the
units, involving distillation operations, heat exchangers, settling, and chemical
reactions
Simulation and validation of processes in Aspen Plus and Aspen EDR (Heat
Exchangers)
Calculating pipelines and process equipment, such as pumps, heat exchangers,
distillation columns, reactors, etc
Gathering process data and preparing equipment and instrument data sheets
(equipment design)
We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode (Paulinia Site).
About you
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of processes and/or production in
chemical industries
Advanced/Fluent English
Competencies:
Proficiency in chemical engineering calculations and process simulators
Knowledge of process control and safety rules
Advanced knowledge of Aspen Plus and Aspen EDR tools
Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.
While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 132.000,00 to R$
201.000,00, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and
experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that
