ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to spearhead the VTEX Payments product charter that powers all transactions in the VTEX platforms. As a Staff PM, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our Payment solutions, and managing the core of our payment solutions - our gateway. You will be in charge of complex challenges, with visible risks, and non-obvious trade-offs and constraints. You are also expected to be seen as a guide/mentor to other members of our product team. WHAT YOU WILL DO Define and Drive Payment Gateway Product Strategy Develop a comprehensive understanding of market needs, customer pain points, and industry trends in the payment space Lead the prioritization and roadmap planning process for payment features and enhancements, balancing short-term business objectives with long-term strategic goals Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams and Payment Partners. Partner closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and marketing teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive execution Cultivate strong relationships with payment networks, acquiring banks, card associations, and other external partners to integrate their services and expand our payment capabilities Lead Product Development and Delivery Provide strategic direction and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch Drive the execution of high-quality payment products and features, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives Continuously monitor and optimize payment performance, user experiences, and operational efficiencies to drive customer satisfaction and business growth Drive Market Adoption and Growth. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new payment products and features, collaborating with marketing, sales, and partnership teams to drive adoption and revenue growth Measure and track key performance metrics and financial indicators to assess the success and impact of payment gateway initiatives, iterating and optimizing as needed Ownership of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Documents and Reporting for the Payments team.
