Airswift is seeking a Project Finance Manager to work on a permanent contract in
Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously strive to improve the Cost Control process and procedures, systems
and best practices;
Ensure the use of standard and appropriate templates for financial and performance
reporting;
Ensure knowledge and adherence to the Group's procedures (Corporate & GPC);
Ensure methods of sharing knowledge and experience, identifying points of
difficulty and concerns, with a focus on improving processes;
Develop the TENDER budget through a review and analysis process with the ESTIMATOR
and project team;
Ensure the transfer of the budget from Tender to the cost management system,
setting up the base (EAC) for monitoring and control;
Ensure total coherence and use of cost control systems (EcoSys) for budgetary and
control purposes, aligning/reporting project performance indicators;
Prepare and establish the Cost Control Structure (x Budget) describing/detailing
the structure to be used in EcoSys (&Tracker), considering the interface with the
Project Planning team;
Ensure analysis and understanding of the contract and project scope;
Support the Change Management process implemented, being proactive in identifying
deviations and corrective/mitigating actions;
Participate in the elaboration of Variation Orders (VO's) backup, updating the
related controls (Costs);
Establish and communicate to team members the processes and routines necessary for
control, considering the financial/accounting rules and compliance in force;
Ensure constant monitoring of the progress of the work based on Planning, costing
reviews with the budgets owners and pertinent information;
Calculate and monitor the Project forecast (ETC), ensuring a robust analysis and
preparation of periodic reports on deviations;
Responsible for the reconciliation of planned x actual expenses, preparing the
accruals as needed;
Ensure that costs are properly allocated/controlled (departments, contracting
entities);
Supervise the preparation and monitoring of project reports;
Prepare the Project PMSR, aligned with the Budget owners, PSM/PCM and the Project
Manager;
Responsible for the weekly/monthly report of the project's Cash Flow, detailing
the previous x current variations;
Responsible for the monthly and quarterly deliveries of the project's financial
reports such as LTF (BFC), Project Accounting Reconciliation, MPM, Job Template,
among others required monthly;
Responsible for attending/responding to Internal and External Audits (&
inspections), together with the Finance/Tax functional team;
Review the project's Close Out documentation;
Participate in functional meetings and workshops with the Project Control team;
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation on Production Engineering, Administration, Economics or Accounting
Sciences
Post-graduation or specialization on Cost Control, Finance or Project Management
is desirable.
Experience on EPCI projects
Advanced Excel
Sap User
Advanced English
Knowledge on preparation of managing reports and systems of financial information
consolidation.
