We are currently looking for the best talent to join our Service Delivery team as a Data Center Engineer. In this role, you will play a vital role in our success by supporting and maintaining the servers, network, storages and datacenters infrastructure for terminals in the region, as well as executing the infrastructure modernization, standardization and security agenda. This position is 100% remote and it could be based in either of these countries: Brasil, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Colombia, or Peru. This position is responsible for the following points: Job content & execution Supporting and maintaining the network services (Servers, Storages, Switches, Firewalls, Datacenters) for Terminals in the Region Implement and execute remote datacenter monitoring Implementing and executing infrastructure services monitoring Resolving requests and incidents within agreed SLA's Ensuring full compliance to cyber security configurations and standards for servers, switches and security devices Providing 7x24 robust, secure and cost-efficient infrastructure services Identify datacenter, facilities, Network and Servers contract support improvement points Update diagrams for Datacenter, Communication Racks and Infrastructure services Implementing change on environment without unplanned service interruption Ensuring optimum health and operation of systems and environment Keep up to date with new datacenter, storage and cloud technologies and how this enables new business services and capabilities Accountable For Ensuring secure networking configurations in line with APMT standards and policies Using Service Now for incidents or requests within local IT SLAs. Update of equipment firmware or servers patches when is appropriate or needed Ensure optimum health and operation of datacenter, storage systems and IT Infrastructure environment Execution of global networking change programs Using proper monitoring tools to provide full visibility to IT Operations and the business. Work with other departments (Local and Global) to troubleshoot communication issues from Impact of new networking and industrial technology implementations Creating and maintaining network flow diagrams for all business applications that meet industry standards. What are we Looking for: Experience working as Server or Network Administrator, knowledge about Datacenters. Experience managing Windows Servers, Servers, Storages, VMWare, Cisco Switches, Firewalls. Desirable more than 3 years. Desirable some certification in Windows Server, Networking, Fortinet or Management (e.g. Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, VMWARE, CCNA, NSE3, NSE4, Red Hat, ITIL or similar). Knowledge in Standards for Datacenters, like BICSI, Uptime Institute, TIA 942B, etc. Knowledge of tools: SolarWinds, TACACs, DCIM, WLC, ISE, etc. University degree in IT careers Upper Intermediate or advanced English level High Customer orientation and collaboration competencies Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
