What youll be responsible for:
Reporting to the VP, Business Development, Americas, you will be responsible for
driving Circles ongoing market development and expansion efforts in Brazil.
Externally, you will engage with our partner's senior leadership, participate in
the local ecosystem to drive awareness and adoption and foster relationships with
key policymakers and regulators to espouse the strategic value of USDC and
blockchain as tools to empower their financial aims. With your Brazil-specific
expertise, you will partner with an expansive set of Circle stakeholders across
Senior Leadership, Business Development, Partner Management, Policy, Marketing and
Operations to scale and accelerate our efforts in the region in a thoughtful and
strategic way. Over time, you will grow and lead a Business Development team to
further expand our efforts and reach in this critical market for Circle.
Ultimately, you will own Circles Brazil OKRs such as monthly active wallet
growth, Circle stablecoin adoption and utilization of our Web3 Services products
and will ensure that our partnership pursuits and activities in-region are
compatible with Circles mission, technology roadmap and financial and regulatory
objectives.
What youll work on:
Close partnership with our Business Development and Partner Management teams to
win and grow strategic partners in Brazil
Establishing and maintaining strong executive relationships with key decision
makers in large partner organizations
Active participation in regional events, as our lead ambassador to the market, to
drive awareness of Circle and USDC
Participation, alongside our Policy team, in the developing crypto and stablecoin
regulation currently being evaluated in Brazil and on-going engagement with key
policy organizations
Close collaboration with XFN stakeholders to ensure that our go-to-market and
operational activities in market are successful
Combine your market-expertise with Circles key initiatives and strategic roadmap
to develop a comprehensive Brazil strategy that will be leveraged by all XFN teams
Execution and ownership of an ambitious growth plan to make USDC the most
prevalent stablecoin in Brazil
Building a team of senior Business Development professionals to manage and
accelerate growth

What you'll bring to this role:
13+ years of Strategic Business Development experience
5+ years experience managing and building highly successful teams
Held a VP-level role before, and understand the XFN and executive relationships
required internally and externally to execute successfully
Experience in financial services, payments, or blockchain/digital asset technology
strongly preferred
Demonstrable experience leading market development and expansion efforts to
meaningfully impact Company revenue and valuation
Experience engaging with policymakers including the Central Bank of Brazil and CVM
Excellent territory and team forecast management and the ability to prioritize
across an expansive set of initiatives to maximize business growth
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English and Brazilian
Portuguese, with Spanish fluency being a significant plus
