Boeing Brazil is seeking Senior Airborne Electronic Hardware Engineer, reporting
to the Electronic & Electrical Engineering Manager, working out of the Sao Jose
Dos Campos office. This position provides an opportunity to work across multiple
systems and programs to support Airborne Electronic Hardware development.
The Senior Airborne Electronic Hardware Engineer will join the Airplane Systems
Integration team and will motivate TP develop and foster relationships with
stakeholders (internal/external) and provide mentorship within the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads work to develop, verify, document and approve Airborne Electronic Hardware
(AEH) in electronic and electrical systems and equipment
Approves analysis and translation of system requirements to hardware requirements
and detailed design data to create AEH
Leads review of hardware requirements validation and verification work in complex
system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met
Works with others to approve equipment verification strategies and system hardware
testing to meet airplane certification requirements
Conducts independent reviews of equipment developer processes and data, and
reports results to program leadership
Provides critical support for changes to AEH in fielded equipment over the entire
product lifecycle
This position is hybrid / Telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate
will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location
options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in
the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
Must have a degree in Engineering
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy
Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English
Language
In depth experience in electronic hardware development per RTCA DO-254, Design
Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware
In depth experience in an engineering role
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
In depth experience in development of Airborne Electronic Hardware, (ASIC and FPGA
technologies)
In depth experience in the Development Assurance Processes
In depth experience with requirements development and verification
In depth experience with airplane certification
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have
current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are
determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
