As a API Solution Engineer, I interface with customers and identify their needs. In my work, I mresponsible for delivering solutions that support business requirements, using varioustechnologies, products, and platforms. I interact with integration software architects andengineers to provide the right solutions and expertise. In my work, I balance various aspects ofthe delivery, from end to end. Additionally, I research and advise the best digital & IT solutions for digital transformation projectsand products. My expertise is a key component of successful digital transformation processesmaking them efficient and effective. What you will do:As part of the API & Integrations team you will contribute to the transformation of our company. You will:gather, review and analyze information and feedback on our digital products andcommercial API businessin collaboration with stakeholders across our business (incl. commercial, legal,governance and finance) gather and document requirementsdevelop internal and external documentationtake on the role of stream lead in projects and initiativesactively contribute as part of an agile team to sprint planning, prioritization and retrospectivesconduct and follow up on testing of APIs and back-end solutionsmanage and perform API development quality assurance and governancecommunicate findings and suggestions to team members and other stakeholders You will work closely with stakeholders across the Volvo Group to be in line with changingbusiness needs. You will create the right environment for your team members to deliver value tothe organization., Competences and Responsabilities:Familiarity with IBM middleware and integration platforms (WebSphere, MQ and APIConnect), or comparable platforms Familiarity with designing and developing REST APIs using Open API specificationsstandards Proven experience in business and systems analysis, including information modelingand tooling Proven experience in documenting requirements and testing Proven experience in generating system and process documentation Leads team efforts in continuous learning and improvement Other skills:Strong proficiency in IT Business Analysis and agile methodologies Understand principles of data storage and messaging solutions Good team player - must be able to work with people at different levels in a globalteam
