We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Apps team, you'll play a vital role in building a resilient, scalable commerce platform used by our clients across the world. In this role, you will be a developer who also serves as a technical reference for the team, providing guidance and expertise in backend development best practices. You will work with different teams to find ways to make things better and make sure that any changes fit with our main business goals. About the Team The Apps team at VTEX is dedicated to extending VTEX capabilities through new apps. Having this goal in mind, we build services and tools that enable developers around the world to create and run those apps with high availability and extensibility. Who You Are You have experience in building backend systems for large-scale applications. You are proficient in multiple programming languages. You have a track record of effective mentorship cases, guiding junior team members and a willingness to learn from senior stakeholders. You thrive in dynamic environments and find them energizing. You can effectively communicate in English and Portuguese.
