Symmetrio is recruiting for our client, a leading global medical device company,
dedicated to advancing innovative solutions for cancer treatment. With a
commitment to improving patient outcomes and enhancing healthcare delivery, we
specialize in developing cutting-edge medical devices tailored for cancer
treatment, and management.
As the South America Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and market penetration across the South American region. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand company presence, increase sales revenue, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
Develop comprehensive business strategies and tactical plans to capitalize on
market opportunities and achieve revenue targets
Sales and Business Development:
Lead the sales efforts, including establishing and managing relationships with
distributors, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers
Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating
contracts, and ensuring effective product positioning and promotion
Customer Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals,
and decision-makers within the oncology community to promote products and services
Provide exceptional customer support, address inquiries, and resolve any issues to
maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty
Market Expansion and Market Access:
Collaborate with regulatory affairs and market access teams to navigate regulatory
requirements and obtain necessary approvals for product registration and
reimbursement
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand market access by forging partnerships
with government agencies, healthcare payers, and advocacy groups
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical
affairs, supply chain, and finance, to align strategies and ensure seamless
execution of business plans
Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on market trends,
competitive intelligence, and performance metrics
Location: This position can be based in any large South American city, with
frequent travel within South America required. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, life sciences, or related
field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical device sales, business development,
or marketing, with a proven track record of success in the oncology or healthcare
industry
Deep understanding of the South American healthcare market, regulatory
environment, and reimbursement landscape
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, with the
ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in
English and Spanish (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
Proactive, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic,
fast-paced environment and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve
business objectives
