Sr C# Engineer Role Description: Our team is seeking a talented and experienced Risk Software Engineer specializing in building cryptocurrency risk systems using C#. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and secure trading systems. We are looking for a dedicated, methodical, and versatile risk software engineer with the experience and passion to solve tough problems with scalable, high-performance code. As a Risk Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cryptocurrency risk infrastructure. Leveraging your expertise in C#, you will create efficient and reliable solutions that enable seamless risk control experiences for our users. Responsibilities for the Sr C# Software Engineer: Risk System Development: - Design, implement, and maintain high-performance cryptocurrency risk systems using C#. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the risk infrastructure. - Contribute to the development of a world-class system for on-chain and off-chain transactions. - Work on financial accounting reporting and ledgers, high-volume trade processing, and reconciliations. Collaboration: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and system architects, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions. Optimization: - Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of risk APIs. - Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices. Security: - Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard the integrity of the risk platform. - Stay informed about the latest industry standards and security trends in the cryptocurrency space. Documentation: - Create comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation for risk APIs, ensuring ease of use for internal and external developers. Troubleshooting and Support: - Collaborate with other engineers, quants, and traders to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the risk system. Provide technical support as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the trading platform. Qualifications required for the Sr C# Softwrae Engineer role: - Commitment to the highest ethical standards while working with sensitive data. - Knowledge of forex and cross-asset trading fundamentals. - Understanding of risk management, portfolio accounting, securities clearing/settlement, and regulatory compliance. - Experience reconciling large disparate data sets. - Strong development skills and a keen interest in exploring new technologies. - Experience working with cryptocurrencies, such as trading digital assets, using crypto platforms, or transferring coins on blockchain. - Familiarity with 3rd party software providers (Murex, Calypso, etc.). - Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Solid experience with API development, including RESTful APIs. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Previous experience working in the financial or fintech industry.
