Overall Purpose of The Job
" Maintain the correct usage of the Oceanic Management System (OMS) and Supplier
Portal to all internal and external users.
" Provide support on OMS and Supplier Portal FAQs and general usage if needed by
the users, based to our companys standards.
" Maintain a high standard communication between clients and vessels.
" Report any issues from lack of proper data or bad practises to the Systems
Support Manager
" Share ideas and suggestions on how the data quality and the system and support
procedures can be improved.
" Support the daily needs of the vessels and provide quick support where and when
possible.
" Monitor the Team to attend and resolve any request that arrives via the
Ticketing System based to our SLA policies.
" Evaluate and address any suggested improvements directly to the Systems Support
Manager
" Oversee and provide colleagues under his/her responsibility with the necessary
support and guidance in order to achieve the Company goals and objectives
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
" Monitor the performance of the Team and ensure prompt communication with the
clients and vessels under service
" Liaise directly with the Systems Support Manager to provide effective support
" Provide 1st level support to vessels for any issues or queries that are relate
to NERIS
" Discuss and train on the correct usage of the ticketing system between the team
members.
" Liaise with higher levels of support and escalation of other non-1st level
issues to them (immediate supervisor and/or vendor where applicable) and follow up
for final resolution of all system issues
" Design, preparation, and distribution of reports extracted from the ticketing
system
" Assist on the installation of NERIS when needed, providing relevant
documentation, or performing as such.
" Identification of areas of concern and suggest areas of improvement for NERIS.
" Implement support standards, policies, and procedures and suggest any areas of
improvement.
" Assist in the control of activities (as per company guidelines) in case of
incidents or emergencies.
" Plan vacation / leave scheduling of subordinates, and manpower requirements in
the department
" Complete performance reviews for Team Members, as per Group requirement
" Monitor performance of Team Members and address any performance issues
" Any other role-related duties which the management may require to be carried
out.
