Job Description Summary: Under the direction of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for assisting in the management of incoming invoices and timely resolution of the invoice discrepancies, disputes, and exceptions in our global purchase to pay tools. This role will also be responsible for management of the Service Now case management tool. This role requires understanding of the full cycle Accounts Payable process, and oversight / adherence for compliance with applicable laws and regulations were globally applicable or appropriate. Driving technology adoption and changes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, internal controls, and impact to financial results. You will add value by managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and monitoring relevant productivity and operational metrics. You will also support change management and help employees, or suppliers adapt to new processes and identify, create, and deliver training as needed. Job Description: In your day-to-day role you will& Ensure the day-to-day Accounts Payable activities in our global purchase to pay tools including but not limited to management of incoming invoices, including invoice processing, approval follow up as needed and working with other teams to drive resolution to aged invoices. Requires understanding of the full cycle AP process. Manage and assign AP related queries/cases in the Service Now case management tool. Assist with escalated cases as needed. Participate in month-end close activities to ensure that all manual wires are recorded in SAP and Ariba. Drive technology adoption and changes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. Manage Key Performance Indicators and monitor relevant productivity and operational metrics. You will provide recommendations and implement improvements as appropriate. Identify, create/revise, and deliver training as needed. Assist in creating and maintaining the Invoicing desktop procedures. Partner with and provide management reporting oversight of assigned business units for analytics, reporting, and recommendations. Check documentation regarding its fiscal adequacy and internal approvals. Preparation of withholding tax payment slips related to invoices for provision for taken services. Include tax payments and other manual payments in a bank portal. Obtain support documentation for input of accounting entries for the Company's transactions. Reconciliation of manual payments posted in SAP bank portal. Provide documentation requested by external audit. What do you need to bring- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience with responsibility for accounts payable, accounting/finance, P2P responsibilities, or equivalent work experience. Full cycle Accounts Payable experience. Proficient in account reconciliations, cash forecasting, payment proposals and invoice process management. Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software. SAP, Ariba Buying and Invoicing and Ariba Dynamic Discounting knowledge required. Must possess strong understanding of P2P systems, SOX controls, and processes. Must be analytical, detail oriented, organized and have excellent problem-solving skills. Able to develop effective solutions that consider efficiency, internal controls, and impact to financial results. Able to work independently and effectively with department staff, as well as those outside of the P2P teams, including all levels of management. Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
