The Senior Accountant is responsible for the accurate reporting of financial results, managing the companys financial affairs and providing leadership for the associations corporate and financial governance. Responsibilities include(but not limited to): Operational Accounting Manage month-end/year-end close process including: account reconciliations, reporting, flux analysis, etc Capable of reviewing payroll balances Prepare monthly comprehensive financial analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policies, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to management requirements Support the audit internal and external and tax processes to ensure timely filing Strong knowledge of IFRS standards Work with the group finance team to ensure reporting requirements are completed timely and accurately Maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to identify and improve business processes across the organization. Solid knowledge of Taxes (Direct and indirect taxes) Integration Process: billing, closing, reporting, outsourced service providers System: ERP, AP, AR, Expenses, Payroll, etc Coordinate with targets Finance team to ensure month end close on a timely basis ERP capable of detecting opportunities for improvement in ERP revitalization Assist with ad hoc analysis and project as needed A strong internal controls and process improvements mind-set is required. Identify and drive process and improvement opportunities to ensure the highest level of efficiency. What you bring to it Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or related fields CPA preferred Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting, compliance reporting, budget preparation and business plan development Ability to partner with a range of stakeholders from finance and non-finance backgrounds to drive performance Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Finance experience in Advertising Industry is a plus Excellent time management, prioritization and deadline adherence Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills in portuguese and english as well Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a sense of ownership About Media.Monks: Media.Monks is the purely digital operating brand of S4Capital plc that connects 8,600+ digital natives across one global team.
