About this opportunity
The Business Development Manager, BDM Labs in Sales Brazil, holds a national
portfolio for Align Technology working with Lab Accounts across the country
through the leadership of the Lab Sales Team. The incumbent of this position
drives growth and builds, with the support of the Sr. Manager, Sales, strong
Dental Labs and Restorative foundation for long term business. He/she is
accountable for achieving Align´s commercial objectives for the channel in the
country guaranteeing effective direction of assigned commercial resources, and
seamless collaboration within the organization and / or with external parties.
This person brings key geographic perspective to the commercial team and
participates in the formulation of approaches for the region.
In this role, you will&
Coach, manage, provide field coaching and guidance to the Lab Sales Team,
developing them and maintaining a high-performing team to continuously execute on
strategy and the removal of obstacles to success.
Build and manage current and new relationships with all targeted Labs and related
business to maximize Align Technology products and services potential, with focus
on the achievement of quarterly and yearly country sales target.
In conjunction with marketing and key executive management, initiate and maintain
relationships with all important customers and partners, maximizing business
opportunities.
Co-Lead with cross area functional Leaders the communication and coordination for
all aspects of the customers business including supply/demand, logistics,
customer service, product promotion, pricing and contracts, and financial
transactions and adherence to compliance.
Build and maintain strong collaborative internal relationships across key
cross-functional business units. Ensure business unit leadership is involved and
educated on the channel strategy and regularly meets with internal stakeholders to
provide updates/status of sales initiatives and action plans.
Integrate with key executives and other decision-making personnel to align account
opportunities and business objectives with Aligns business objectives.
Direct customer initiatives and special projects.
Drive key Align business objectives and lead organizational change.
Develop, maintain, and deploy reporting tools and metrics to ensure transparent
views of the current activity state, progress against plan, and business impacts
of the functions operations. Utilize metrics, internal/external environmental and
business intelligence to provide the early identification of new business
opportunities.
As a business development role, it is expected that the role will directly be
involved on Field calls to chosen and strategic customers, and the definition of a
strategy to grow those customers/segment.
Increase business among existing Lab customers as well as promoting the
organization to new business opportunities in order to meet key strategic business
growth objectives, looking for synergies with our products and Align Digital
Platform.
Develop, adjust and implement key programs and events to address specific sales
growth strategies and goals, specifically around the areas of Practice
Development, Key Account Management and Services.
Ensures sales planning, forecasting, business planning, customer service, clinical
and execution are properly put in place to business objectives.
In this role, youll need &
6-10 years of work experience in relevant roles within sales and/or marketing
management or lab related sales products.
Previous work experience leading and managing sales teams preferably in medical
devices or digital dental related business.
Project management experience with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
is desirable.
Ability to influence teams with excellent communication skills, verbal and
written.
Ability to analyze the effectiveness of programs and adjust rapidly if needed,
skillfull in Sales Force, Power BI tools, excel and Sales Management KPIs.
Proficiency in Align Digital Platform tools, iTero and desirable Exocad knowledge.
English is desirable.
Bachelor or Business Administration University degree is required, preferably in
business-related or healthcare/dental field. MBA is desirable.
