globally with sophisticated payment, liquidity and working capital management

The Cash Management for Corporates business line in Brazil provides a
comprehensive suite of transaction banking local and global services including
payments, receivables, FX and working capital. The solutions are delivered using a
world class set of client integration tools and online bank services.
Strategy, Governance, Risk and Control
The Country Product Manager of Corporate Cash Management will have oversight and
overall responsibility for the end to end view of Deutsche Bank Brazils platform.
The individual will develop and support delivery of product strategy with an
emphasis on the corporate client segment. As such, the candidate needs to be
versed in what drives corporate cash management clients strategies and be able to
position the bank's solution in a consultative manner across the Payments,
Liquidity and Account structuring landscape.
The individual will link into the Corporate Bank Global CCM Product Management
organization. In this function the Product Head will support the front office
teams on all aspects of the platform. The individual will maintain strong links
into relevant functions such as Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance
and Risk. The position will include managing the daily business management
functions that include metrics, budget, go to market activities, client advisory
and facing off to regulators and local industry bodies (FEBRABAN, ABBI and etc).
Country Product Manager of Corporate Cash Management will ensure that
non-financial product risks are proactively addressed and remediated. The
individual is responsible for supporting all local/regional audits impacting the
platform and will manage industry and regulatory developments that impact the
platform. The individual will partner with various business management support
functions including Group Audit, DCO Division Control Office, BCU Business
Control Unit, Legal, Risk, Anti-Financial Crimes, and Compliance,
In addition, this role includes management component of an analyst and an intern,
as well as further P&L responsibilities - reporting to the Americas Head of
Corporate Payment Solutionsin the region, who is based in New York, and with a
local matrix reporting line. As such, this role will be instrumental in managing
overall cash management product revenues for the local franchise as well as
developing our cash management capabilities in order to be in compliance with the
local regulation.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the local/regional CCM business owner, providing end to end oversight of
the platform in partnership with internal stakeholders and clients.
Define scope for the business and ensure these needs are met through partnership
between product management, business lines, development teams (IT), operations,
and second line of defense (e.g. Legal, Risk, Compliance, Business Control)
Establish and maintain a robust product risk, control and governance oversight,
aligning with associated corporate risk management frameworks.
Support Global Coverage and Sales for client engagements, RfPs, RfIs
Build understanding of potential product and market needs through focused
stakeholder, prior knowledge of the local market and on-going assessment of the
changing regulatory landscape
Establish and maintain product governance
Define scope for the business and ensure these needs are met through partnership
between product management, business lines, development teams (IT), operations,
and second line of defense (e.g. Legal, Risk, Compliance, Business Control)
Conduct periodic comprehensive product reviews
Develop and maintain the platforms KYP Know Your Product which includes end to
end flows, KOPP Key Operating Product Procedures and coordinating NPA New
Product Approval process
Ensure all necessary go to market validation steps are complete prior to product
launches
Professional and Personal Requirements:
Previous relevant experience in the local Brazil and global transaction banking
industry
Sound understanding of clearing systems, regulatory framework and risk management
disciplines related to transaction banking and movement of cash including payments
and receivables
Extensive product management experience including strategic planning, product
development and positioning experience
Experience with product processes, control framework design, and management of
non-financial risks
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication
skills
Able to think strategically with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously, work under
pressure, in an organized manner and with teams across multiple locations and
time-zones
Able to connect, manage and influence people from different backgrounds and
cultures
A strong team player being part of a global team, communicating, managing and
cooperating closely on a global level while being able to take ownership and
deliver independently
University Degree (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering
preferred)
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Proficient in the use of MS Office product suite
Expectations
