to corporates.
The Brazil Head of Credit Lines & Trade Credit Manager, LAC will be based in our
São Paulo office with the ability to manage the Trade Credit Operations in Brazil
and support the launch of Trade Credit Operations in Mexico (regional expansion),
manage and develop strategies for the country, travel when business requires and
lead local underwriting team efficiently. The Trade Credit operations will
contribute to the growth of AIG Brazil and Latin America along with the rest of
the Lines of Business.

Responsibilities
Manage TC Brazil operations.
Support the launch of TC operations in Mexico and strategize regional expansion.
Produce, underwrite, and manage local portfolios in line with underwriting
strategy and adhering to underwriting standards, marketing through a focused
distribution system.
Identify and develop alternative distribution partnerships with local / regional
key players.
Enhance business growth through business drivers maintaining profitability
objectives.
Implement strategic plans as agreed with the senior leadership, monitor market
movements and refine adaptation of local business plans.
Work together with all functions of the Trade Credit organization incl. Credit
Officers.
Integrate and collaborate with the other Line of Business and functions at a
country and regional level.
Set, agree, and deliver financial and budgetary goals for the countries and
region.
Lead, supervise, train, and develop the underwriting team.
Provide technical advice to underwriters, credit analysts, brokers, insureds and
claims regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings and applications.
As a great manager you will provide direction, motivate and grow talent, and
empower and coach teams toward higher levels of performance.
What youll need to succeed
Studies in economics, actuarial, accounting and/or business administration or
related areas.
Several years of successful experience in banking and/or insurance, preferably in
credit insurance, working capital/ receivables finance.
Proven experience in financial and balance sheet analysis.
A strong development and leadership experience, as well as an excellent network in
the trade credit industry, a plus.
Experience and security in dealing with corporate customers and banks.
Ability to communicate and negotiate at C-level, ability to express clearly and
precisely.
Willingness to make decisions, ability to work in a team, quick perception and
good self-organization.
Personal initiative, commitment, accountability, resilience, flexibility.
Proven Strategic Leadership skills in developing vision and purpose ensure driving
for results and leading effective teams. Skilled leader whose actions are agile,
client focused, results oriented.
Willingness to provide sales support and business trips (focus on Brazil and
Mexico).
Business thinking, cost orientation and the ability to work in a profit-oriented
manner
