Role Purpose
To be the trusted Finance Process and Technology Partner, providing clarity and
direction to deliver the Finance agenda at all levels in the Americas, by
improving Finance jobs through innovative process and technology solutions.
To translate Finance requirements into efficient process and system design which
meets relevant business, legal and Syngenta Internal Control framework
requirements, through producing relevant documentation.
To provide Finance with advice on best-practice processes and solutions, in
consultation with IT and Continuous Improvement when needed.
To provide functional and change delivery guidance to projects and continuous
improvement initiatives across Finance processes. These processes may be embedded
or linked to Syngentas ERP platforms or to relevant applications within Finance.
To manage Projects and Change Management process, ensuring proper communication
among relevant stakeholders.
To pursue collaboration opportunities between Americas FP&T team and our
colleagues in EAME, APAC, GFO and our Global function, as well as with IT and
Continuous Improvement functions.
Accountabilities
To proactively manage and deliver change management process and continuous
improvement initiatives for Finance (projects and small changes) within time,
quality and cost, from requirement gathering and documentation to process fit/gap
analysis, solution validation, user acceptance/regression testing, training and
handover to steady state support.
Drive and support FP&T portfolio planning for the Territory/Function in scope,
ensuring the set of programs/projects are prioritized and mapped against the
Finance strategy.
To guarantee that the technical solutions for the assigned Finance process or
process changes delivers the business requirements, in consultation with IT.
To identify and prioritize process improvements with a sound business case and
perform business impact analysis.
To champion Finance processes and apply a set of methodologies, tools and
techniques to deliver change.
To proactively plan the stretch of the individual capability set through the
development of hard and soft skills and to contribute to the team capability
development through collaboration, learning and sharing.
To lead by influence across finance stakeholders, IT stakeholders, technology
partners and other relevant parties to drive initiatives to successful completion.

Qualifications

Essential for this position:
Qualification in Information Technology with Finance knowledge or Finance degree
with strong experience in digital projects and solutions.
Qualification or certification in process design and/or system/project management
methodologies desired (i.e., Agile, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, etc.).
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Good knowledge of SAP for relevant Finance modules and other applications, hands
on experience (usability and architecture).
Minimum 4-year experience in ERP process support and/or ERP projects.
Process analysis skills and experience in designing, implementing, testing and
documenting of ERP and non-ERP systems, processes and interfaces.
Project management experience:
Change management, Agile methodologies, Customer centric approach, other
methodologies to drive process and system changes.
Communication and influencing skills to engage a broad network of stakeholders.
Good understanding of business end-to-end processes and internal controls
necessary to safeguard the Companys assets.
Desirable qualifications:
Intermediate or higher level of Spanish (spoken and written).
