every developer quickly build, test, deploy, govern, and monitor integrations

About the role
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
team, responsible to operate and continuous improvement our platform's
infrastructure, which is built on cloud services and Kubernetes. You will be
responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud and Kubernetes
environment that powers our services, while collaborating closely with
cross-functional teams to guarantee exceptional reliability, performance, and
security.
On a typical day, you will&
Team Management & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SRE team, fostering a culture of
collaboration and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and maintain our cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure and
application clusters such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus and more ensuring high
availability, scalability, and security.
Network Management
Design, implement, and maintain connectivity solutions to connect Digibee's
platform and customer premisses.
Kubernetes Expertise
Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized
applications, manage deployments, and optimize resource utilization.
Cloud Optimization
Identify opportunities for optimizing cloud resource usage, managing costs, and
enhancing performance across various cloud providers.
Monitoring and Alerting
Set up robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve
potential issues, ensuring the overall health of the platform.
Incident Management
Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with development and engineering
teams to swiftly address and resolve incidents, and conduct post-incident
analysis.
Automation
Drive the automation of deployment, scaling, and management processes to
streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Security and Compliance
Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring data protection and
adherence to industry standards.
Capacity Planning
Collaborate with development teams to forecast resource requirements, plan for
growth, and make informed decisions about infrastructure scaling.
Documentation
Maintain up-to-date documentation for the infrastructure, processes, and
procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Engineering, and QA to
align operations with development goals and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Stay Current
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies
related to cloud computing and Kubernetes.
What You'll Need To Bring...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
(or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an Operations Manager, DevOps Engineer or similar role in a
cloud-centric environment.
Strong expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration.
Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
and cloud services.
Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or
CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tool
development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and
resolving operational challenges.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies is a plus.
Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or related areas are
desirable.
