Summary: The Financial Services Analyst (FSA) analyzes sales partners business models and financial capacities to maximize the sales partners purchasing power and ScanSource, Inc.s (ScanSource) revenue opportunities. The FSA will work with the Customer Service Department and sales unit personnel to properly analyze past due accounts receivable balances, determine actions for prompt resolution, and direct daily activities to support prompt approval of orders referred to Financial Services (FS). The FSA will accomplish these goals through regular discussions with other FS team members and sales unit personnel, in addition to analyzing financial statements, reviewing public information, payment history, and exploring potential alternatives when necessary. Responsibilities include analyzing financial risk to ensure that the appropriate terms of sale and trade credit limit are offered to provide flexible financial services that are adaptable to the sales partners changing needs - now and in the future. Additionally, the FSA will review and release sales orders based on approved underwriting components and will perform account maintenance to resolve invoice issues. The FSA will also assist the team as needed for other account issues. The FSA will ensure compliance with FS guidelines and applicable commercial credit laws to maximize ScanSources profitable recovery opportunities within predetermined authority Informações adicionais: Essential Job Duties: Accounts Receivable: Responsibilities include the support of ScanSources accounts receivable within an assigned set of sales partners. · Review and analyze sales partner applications for completeness and obtain additional information as required for timely and accurate processing. Collaborate with Sales Partner Onboarding group by managing application review, creation of folders in the Electronic Credit Files and saving the required documents in the folder. · Analyzes creditworthiness of existing sales partners to determine acceptable levels of risk. Autonomous signature authority up to amounts listed in the FS Approval Authority Levels. Amounts exceeding the individuals authority will be recommended to a Financial Analyst I, II, III, Manager, FS or Director, FS for approval. · Inputs data from various sources into electronic Scoring Model including but not limited to financial data, trade credit report scores, and various other historical performance measures. Analyzes the business data in order to discover and understand historical patterns with a focus on predicting and improving business performance in the future. · Coordinates daily activities within an assigned area of responsibility to support group achievement for improvement of past dues by responding to requests in the FIS Unmatched and Matched email queue and sending Reminder emails from the work list as assigned. · Assist in the controlling of past due conditions through consistent and timely follow-up within an assigned set of sales partner accounts by identifying, researching, and documenting payments and clearing documents to drive root cause analysis and resolution. Required: · Minimum of intermediate English language proficiency. · Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or two years relevant working experience within credit and financial management disciplines. · Strong communication skills and ability to relate well to all levels of management. · Strong problem solving, decision making, and timely follow-up skills with demonstrated abilities to work well within defined time restraints and pressure situations. · Organization skills, time management skills and possess qualities of leadership, professionalism, and teamwork. · Must be highly proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office: Excel and Word) and demonstrated ability to learn mainframe applications. · Must be extremely thorough, self-starter and disciplined to working with little or no supervision. · This individual must demonstrate a commitment to excellence. · Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment by introducing alternative financial solutions within predetermined risk parameters.
