Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly technical professional to join the
Business Technology (BT) organization. A solutions architect creates the overall
technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem. They design,
describe, and manage the solution. In many ways, this person builds the bridge
between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the
phases and requirements required to make that solution work.
Essential Functions:
Design and develop innovative, scalable, efficient and secure solutions such as
with Global scale readiness.
On a global scale across Bunge, within a highly complex projects and ever changing
environment, lead the design, development and advancement
Applies highly technical expertise to provide recommendations and roadmaps which
solve complex problems without clear precedent
Design, debug, and monitor performance of solutions
Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
Regularly communicating new features and benefits to partners, internal customers,
and other stakeholders
Providing technical leadership to Agile Squads and/or DevOps development teams,
ranging in size from 6-8 team members, throughout the project lifecycle
Developing proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutions
Bring a new & alternative perspective when reviewing and validating solutions
designs from other team members
As a Solution Architecture expert, demonstrate thought leadership & influence
beyond the scope or your own team and throughout Bunge
Accountable for developing & monitoring the solutions budget
Advise and support strategy and business technology leaders to understand, apply,
monetize, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform
automation requirements into scalable and resilient solutions.
Significant responsibility to ensure compliance with industry standards, as well
as continually implementing cutting edge approaches to stay leading within the
industry
On a global scale, responsible to architect, design, develop, execute and maintain
systems
Stakeholders include both technical and non-technical stakeholders; the solution
architect must make sure that each party's needs are considered and factored into
the project's scope.
Close coordination with other technical professionals such as integration
engineers, cloud engineers, security engineers, data engineers, and compliance
officials to ensure that all patterns adhere to Bunges Enterprise Architecture &
Quality principles.
Stakeholders may include Business Technology Leadership and Leaders within
assigned functions or business units
Work closely with development teams and external partners
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education & experience required,
computer science degree preferred.
11+ year of experience in designing & developing large scale, global solutions
leveraging methodologies
6+ years of experience in tools
Manages operational plans, large projects and/or processes with limited oversight
from manager. Leads and/or participates with comparable influence in large
projects/initiatives
Recognized internally & externally as an expert, providing leadership to
professionals and support staff.
Contributes to short to midterm (1-3 years) plans to execute on strategies in job
area.
Serve as an independent & experienced thought leader capable of guiding teams on
complex technical issues.
Demonstrated experience creating analysis' of alternatives and presenting to
stakeholders for buy-in and consensus.
English Fluency enough to discuss and engage in robust dialogue in technical
forums without support is required.
Second language of Spanish and/or Portuguese are considered a plus
