Key Objectives
To provide end to end responsibility for all Logistics (warehousing and transport)
allowing maximum operational flexibility according to customer service, quality,
HSE and cost targets for a specific region
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of the Logistics budget (costs, quality,service &
HSE).
Ensure all business logistics requirements are understood, documented and met
(includes Operating manuals, legislation, regulations & HSE requirements)
Development & Implementation of Logistics improvement programs
Contract manager for all 3rd party logistics services covering the provisions of
warehousing and transport, including invoice approval
Ensuring timely and accurate availability of reports, metrics and databases
required to manage logistics costs and service
Responsible for deployment of the standardized Logistics processes
Supervise personnel, including:
development of objectives and necessary training; review performance; and
recommend salary adjustments, promotions, transfers, hiring and/or disciplinary
actions
Increase the Logistics maturity level in the area of responsibility (Authorised)
Logistics sourcing
Ensuring availability of required Transport / warehouse capacity, including
ensuring optimal transportmode is used
Requirements
Graduation degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology studies
Many years of experience in related / similar field.
Understand Consumer and B2B/B2C SC and logistics processes know-how.
Analytical & strong stakeholder management skills, cross functional understanding
Strong People Management Skills.
Proven ability to design and execute a supply chain strategy.
Proven ability to consistently deliver on KPIs.
WMS and/or physical warehouse leadership experience required.
Continuous Improvement experience, certification preferred.
TMS, Oracle, and/or PowerBI experience preferred.
Has been member of a regional teams, various cultures.
Has been exposed to working and impacting regionally.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Has experience in leading functional projects & building teams.
Fluent in English. Spanish is deseable
