Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Global IT Service Manager Intranet as part of the Information Management - Employee Experience Services team. This position will be in São Paulo (Brazil). The Global Intranet Service is responsible for providing tools, processes, governance, and support for content owners and publishers to present their content on Dow's Intranet. The role consists of indirect leadership responsibilities for a team of Intranet analysts and relationship management with key technology vendors as well as fostering internal client relationships. About you and this role - What you would do in this role: The Service Manager will maintain accountability for the design, transition, and/or operations of infrastructure services or practices. For design, the Service Manager is responsible for the design of integrated, workable solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and address capability gaps. For transition, the Service Manager is responsible for the delivery and implementation of new services and service changes. For operations, the Service Manager is responsible for a high level of client satisfaction, run-the-business IT operations, SLAs, service operations, and operational service improvements. Responsible for maximizing the adoption and value of a service or practice for the intended audience. Partners with the Sr. Service Manager to manage the work and costs of the teams and vendors involved in service design, transition, and operations. Orchestrates complex functional, technical, and operations requirements analysis  with emphasis on experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability. Responsibilities: Manages the service balancing customer requirements with affordability, corporate and business strategy, industry trends, and available technology. Builds and nurtures a network of trusted relationships with service stakeholders. Enhances service governance model and supports broader usage of automation and self-service solutions. Assesses value, documents business/value case, and helps prioritize investments based on expected impact and value delivery. Evaluate and develop new services as needed to meet business requirements and defines service deployment strategy by geos and stakeholders. Selects and defines supplier and team support models and collaborates with vendors to define service metrics to ensure end-to-end continuity of service performance. Collaborates with I/S Purchasing to develop and implement service support contracts. Maintains service offering descriptions and material to support adoption and drives adoption with stakeholders and targeted client audiences. Responsible to ensure service quality, timeliness of deliverables, responsiveness to client requests, and accuracy of status and metric information. Accountable for designing and delivery of technical capabilities and overseeing the transition from design to development, delivery, support, and retirement of those capabilities per agreed-upon requirements. Drive and lead continuous improvement efforts to meet or exceed client satisfaction goals. Assists with workload analysis for a team to ensure proper resource alignment for capacity planning as well as with financial management by managing service volumes and unit costs. Works with stakeholders to understand and enable MA&D activities, as needed. Responsible for following the ITIL framework to deliver value for users of the service. Accountable to ensure SLAs, OLAs, or KPIs measurements are in place and are acted upon when outside of normal expectations. Responsible for advocating, educating and ensuring your Service team members follow any IT practice policies including but not limited to: Evaluating/managing IT information risks with Information Security to ensure Dows safety and security; Driving Events, Incident Design and implement Intranet standards in partnership with Search, Knowledge, and Accessibility service managers and enterprise architecture, using human-centered design principles. Work with both internal and 3rd party software/solution providers and support organizations (Internal Dow teams and external Service providers) to support and improve our users' finding information experiences. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field. 8 years of relevant professional experience. Fluent in English in verbal and written communications Previous experience with Content Management Systems. Experience in Microsoft SharePoint administration or Microsoft SharePoint communication site design. Previous experience in designing and implementing the architecture of Microsoft Azure workloads and cloud-based applications, as well as general application or web development experience. Previous Experience in managing external Suppliers. Delivering and working in Agile/Scrum development processes. Your preferred qualifications include Windows system administration experience (patching, security, software installation). Experience in ITIL Framework and processes through work experience and/or Certification. Development experience using HTML5, JavaScript, or similar languages/toolsets. Experience working with SDLC activities using GitHub Agile project management experience.
