Overview:
We are looking for an experienced QA Test Tooling & Platforms Lead to join the
Enterprise Architecture team in the Business Technology (BT) organization. The QA
Test Tooling & Platforms Lead will play a pivotal role in leading a global team of
test engineers, overseeing the development and implementation of test automation
frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless
integration of testing tools and platforms. The successful candidate will possess
a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, a passion for automation,
and a proven track record of delivering highquality software automation solutions
and leading both global and local projects. Responsible for development and
deployment of tools and platforms along with management, co-ordination, and
completion of quality initiatives by performing a variety of tasks that include
setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and
summarizing results. Their role reports to the QA COE Lead in the Enterprise
Architecture organization.
Essential Functions
Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive automation
strategy, frameworks, tools, and platforms to enhance testing efficiency and
effectiveness.
Implement and drive the complete lifecycle of automation projects from planning
and execution to meeting predefined goals, budgets, timelines, and operational
results.
Identifying and prioritizing test automation opportunities, such as regression
testing, integration testing, to maximize the benefits of automation.The
information contained in this document was classified as Restricted
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Platform Engineers, and Product Teams to
translate Design decisions to Automation. Responsible to create and implement
scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, Backend applications using tools
such as Selenium, UFT, TOSCA or RPA UiPath. Also expected to come with alternative
solutions where end to end automation may be challenging across different ERP
platforms.
Perform Automation Code Quality reviews, approve pull requests, guide engineers
with Automation Troubleshooting, approve code merge, manage, and track automation
progress, coordinate automation release pipelines, and drive overall Automation
Maturity as transformation initiative.
Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the test automation
strategy and collaborate with Quality Architects for making improvements as needed
to optimize testing processes and outcomes.
Responsible for sustainment activities related to automation and test management
processes. This primarily includes leading, managing and / or actively
participating in troubleshooting and problem solving with test automation and test
management.
Hire, Train, Manage and mentor engineers and support staff to work to their full
potential. Maintain Departmental Quality and Performance Metrics. Write
Performance reviews.
Collaborate with various cross functional teams to understand business
requirements and needs to translate into automation strategy. Tailor solutions to
improve efficiency and effectiveness across end-to-end test integration.
Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies and plans that
align with project objectives and timelines.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related
to software testing.
Global impact across all Bunge Software QA functions
Develops and maintains QA tools and platforms for all Bunge software applications
Oversees a global team of 5+ test engineers
Responsible for QA of multiple Waterfall /Agile/DevOps projects
Identifies and resolves technical QA issues that could impact Bunge's reputation
or bottom line
Tracks and reports on QA metrics that provide insights into QA performance
Maintains QA knowledge base and documentation that is used by all Bunge QA
professionals
Recommending and implementing new test automation tools and platforms to improve
testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Successfully Implementing test strategies and plans that align with complex
project objectives and timelines Makes decisions on which QA test frameworks to
develop and
maintain.
Makes decisions on how to conduct BT Automation reviews and provide feedback on
software automation enhancements.
Makes decisions on how to track and report on QA metrics.
Makes decisions on how to maintain QA knowledge base and documentation.
Leads a global team of test engineers, providing strategic direction, mentorship,
and technical guidance.
Develops and implements test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing
efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product development,
engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of testing
tools and platforms
Serve as a lead capable of guiding teams on quality tools & platforms to direct
and mentor QA engineers.
Coordinate with other technical professionals such as Product Development teams,
integration engineers, cloud engineers, security engineers, data engineers,
compliance officials and business stakeholders to ensure that all patterns
adhere to Bunges Enterprise Architecture & Quality principles.
Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud automation solutions into
CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing tools and platforms using
Selenium, UFT, TOSCA or RPA UiPath
Expert knowledge of software testing methods, automation technologies and test
management tools. In-depth knowledge of working on SAP applications, preferably
SAP S4 HANA, along with an understanding of their integration points and APIs.
Technical
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent required, computer science degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in leading Test Automation Initiatives in complex
organizations and / or QA Automation Architecture or Engineer roles
3+ years working with diverse teams
English Fluency enough to discuss and argue on technical forums without support.
A second language, Spanish and/or Portuguese are considered a plus
Experience with Performance Testing and / or AI test tools would be a great add on
Experienced in leading and managing global team of test engineers
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to
software testing
Certifications from leading Quality Assurance / Agile Process bodies would be a
great add on (e.g., ASTQB, ISTQB, Certified SCRUM Master, SAFe Certifications).
Self-Starter who is detail oriented, well organized and able to self prioritize
complex tasks within a dynamic and demanding environment
