Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Cultural Leadership * Understands the company mission and performs all duties in line with corporate values. * Exemplifies grit and embraces teamwork while completing all responsibilities. * Leads by example through the tactful expression of opinions, always with an eye towards providing productive solutions. * Sets a positive tone for company communications. Organization Support * Develops organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues and making recommendations to organizational strategic thinking and direction. * Establishes human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives and values. Employee Life Cycle Support * Identifies, attracts, and facilitates selection of the most talented and qualified candidates to fill vacant positions who are the right fit; * Develops and directs new employee orientations with an emphasis on company culture alignment that fosters positive and motivated employees. * Effectively communicates changes in the organizations personnel policies and procedures to the company and ensures that proper compliance is followed. * Provides guidance and recommendations on succession planning. * Serves as an alternative point of contact beyond an employees supervisor for any issues that arise. * Conducts exit interviews to help identify opportunities for improvement in the company. Performance Management * Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation, and administration of the organizations wage and salary program. * Develops and facilitates performance review processes that aligns company values and business objectives with employee professional and personal goals. * Facilitates employee relations and conflict resolution. Compliance and Records Maintenance * Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure the organizations compliance. * Develops and maintains a human resources information system that meets the organizations personnel information needs. * Responsible for organizations compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters. * Maintains records of insurance coverage, retirement plan, and personnel transactions. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 5-10 years related human resources experience. Microsoft Office Suite capabilities. Exemplary knowledge of HRIS systems. Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures. Ability to work independently. Strong people skills. Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach. Strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of employment/labor laws. Knowledgeable about ethical practices. Physical Requirements Ï Repetitive movement of hands, arms, legs and fingers (typing and/or writing). Ï Exposure to general office environment conditions. Ï Sitting, with occasional walking, standing, stooping and moving about. Ï Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
