LATAM Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for managing LATAM
(From México to Argentina, including Brasil) Vestas' spend with external suppliers
for Service department. With a matrix organization, global and regional roles, the
RPO ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with same overall
objectives across all Vestas regions. Position will work together with Spareparts
& tools purchaser and report to the Category leader.
Responsibilities:
Support regional purchaser and team lead on activities as:
Prepare Documentation for tenders (include technical documentation, comercial)
Prepare commercial discutions with new suppliers, including NDA signatures and
suppliers pre-assestment evaluation.
Launch and follow up Request for quotations with suppliers
Perform price analysis evaluation
SAP deliverables management (purchasing info records and price updates)
Support on contract closing (preparation and signature)
Follow up on department KPIS (on time delivery, cost, etc)
Supplier and master data management (vendor creation and update)
Qualifications:
Ongoing studies in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain, Business or
Engineering)
Portuguese and Highly proficient in English, written and verbally.
Spanish is desirable and will be needed.
Competences:
Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Having a "can do" approach and positive attitude towards the challenges you will
face
Cross cultural skills (will work as part of an international team)
Team working competences within a Matrix organization
Hability to prioritize under pressure
