Sobre a vaga
As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within BCGs Operations Practice Area, you will work
in a growing global team, providing functional expertise and insights, working
together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets
and expert advisory for diagnostics and live projects.
You will support business development and go-to-market efforts of the Operations
Practice Area in Latin America, as opportunities arise, contributing research and
analysis to marketing efforts. While contributing to client cases, workshops and
proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments
is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.
Additionally, you will support the procurement business in developing existing &
new intellectual property and knowledge assets. As a Knowledge Analyst you will
assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best
practices within the team.
The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices and helps our
clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building
strategic capabilities. The Procurement Topic Area is an expert network of
knowledge team members and experienced consultants who help clients on specific
cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., procurement
strategy, operating model, digital transformation, sustainable procurement, risk &
resilience, etc.).
As a Knowledge Analyst for the Operations Practice Area & Procurement business in Latin America, you will:
Provide expertise and support on daily Operations & Procurement related queries to
the consulting teams
Collaborate with consultants and other global BCG Knowledge Teams to build new
proprietary tools
Develop our Procurement content by conducting research & analysis, collecting
data, reviewing our knowledge products & ensuring they are up-to-date
Actively participate in efforts to innovate our approaches and enhance the overall
offer of our Operations / Procurement business line
Background in Industrial Goods (eg. Metals & Mining, Automotive, Petrochemicals,
Agribusiness, etc), Consumer Products and/or Energy sectors is recommended.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Knowledgeable on Operations processes in Industrial, Consumer Products and/or
Energy sectors in topics related to Procurement strategy, value delivery, and
operating model
Communicating with case teams and clients team members, in a credible and
confident way
Strong work ethics, service-mentality and willingness to showcase expertise
Ability to multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organization
Effective written & verbal communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate complexity and ambiguity
Collaborative, team player including in an international, virtual communications
environment
Flexibility and bring a curious and creative mindset, open for new things and able
to propose innovative ideas
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
+1 years consulting experience required, with relevant case experience in
Operations/Procurement
In lieu of consulting experience, +2 years minimum industry experience required in
Operations/Procurement
Relevant experience in Industrial Goods (eg. Metals & Mining, Automotive,
Petrochemicals, Agribusiness, etc), Consumer Products and/or Energy sectors
Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
Fluency in English; Spanish/Portuguese desirable
Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
