Description and Requirements
Lead the Bid Desk and WinRoom process by providing guidance to optimize deals and
develop winning proposals.
About the Position
We are in search of a dynamic and proactive individual to oversee the Bid Desk and
Win Room processes for the LA (Latin America) region.
The Daily Win Room and Bid Desk are crucial processes in supporting sellers to excel in securing deals. The Bid Desk process includes the execution of a set of optimization tasks like:
cost optimization, 3rd party discounts negotiation, competitive analysis, delivery
forecast and risk management. These tasks finish with and executive presentation
of the deal for approval.
The selected candidate should possess the ability to:
Analyze complex data center deals in collaboration with the sales teams.
Interact with different technical groups to ensure the seamless execution of each
assigned task.
Support executive presentations.
Documentation of the previous projects.
Winrooms and Bid Desk are a fundamental component of Lenovo's overall strategy.
Winrooms helped to gain footprint in mid size deals and Bid Desk has been a key
winning factor for big deals.
This role presents a exceptional opportunity for professional growth within an
organization that values proactive ownership and groundbreaking expansion. The
position reports directly to the LA Product & Alliances Director for the Lenovo
Infrastructure Solutions Group and is based in Sao Paulo.
Duties & Responsibilities
Bid Desk Process.
Lead the following key tasks execution and monitor the entire bid process for big deals:
To-do lists
Deal structure Alternative Evaluation
Cost Structure analysis
Optimizations
3rd party discounts negotiation
Competitive Analysis
Delivery Forecast
Risk Assessment
Executive Meetings
Bidding Strategy Recommendation
Win Lost Calls after the deal is presented.
Maintain a detailed archive of past bid documents and key learnings.
Facilitate teams interaction.
Daily Winroom
Support sales presentations for mid-sized deals, focusing on:
Deal Structure Presentation
Best Configuration Selection
Delivery sizing
GTN Optimization
FX analysis
3rd party discounts
Profitability Level Recommendation
Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Finance; a Masters degree is preferable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/pricing or product management, with
a focus on data center technologies.
- Proven project management experience.
Skills
- Outstanding operational and execution capabilities are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong negotiation and presentation
skills.
