Vaga de Legal Entity Controller - Associate

The Brazil Finance & Business Management team is seeking for new member to join the Legal Entity Control (LEC) group, based in São Paulo. The LECs are responsible for the integrity of the financial statements, regulatory financial and management financial reporting associated with the J.P. Morgan legal entities. The candidate will be part of the division responsible for Local GAAP requirements. Responsibilities include: Supporting LEC covering Regulatory Reports and Local GAAP requirements, including responsibilities related to oversight of financial reporting associated with the J.P. Morgan legal entities; Active participation on internal projects such as system migrations, new business initiatives and regulatory reporting changes; Providing support on internal requirements which includes: internal audits, metrics and control-driven regional initiatives; Analysis of regulations issued by the Central Bank of Brazil, more specifically to Brazil IFRS conversion associated with changes on local regulatory reports; Coordination of accounting and non-accounting documents submission to the Central Bank (i.e. compulsórios a vista e a prazo, CBE  Censo de Capital Brasileiro no Exterior, Estatistica Bancaria Internacional, among others); Conduct internal initiatives and enhancements agenda, looking for process automation, efficiency and robustness; Qualifications include: Bachelor degree in accounting; Broad knowledge of financial services businesses and products; Broad knowledge of BRGAAP requirements; Minimal 3 years of experience working with accounting in financial institutions; Strong technical, relationship building and communication skills (written and verbal in Portuguese and English); Excellent time management and organization skills, ability to handle multiple timelines and working on complex issues;
