Network Administrator - Senior Responsibilities Support, implement, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, ISE, ASA, and F5 infrastructure to support organizational requirements. Configure and manage VLANs, ACLs, routing protocols (such as OSPF, BGP), VPNs, and other network technologies. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability. Implement and maintain network security measures, access control, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and applications. Perform regular backups, updates, and patches to ensure the security and stability of the network infrastructure. Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Provide technical support and assistance to other IT teams and end-users as needed. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on Cisco routers, switches, ISE, ASA, and F5. Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly preferred. Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols. Experience with designing and implementing network security measures, including VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, and F5 BIG-IP platforms. Solid understanding of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, SNMP, and packet analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud networking technologies, such as Azure. Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and technologies. Experience with network automation and scripting using tools like Python or Ansible. Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
