The Pricing & Market Access Sr Manager is responsible for executing market access
plans and key tactics to maximize access to Cystic Fibrosis (CF) portfolio and
pipeline, in line with Vertexs goals and strategies.
This role will develop CF value proposition, pricing and reimbursement dossiers
and value-added solutions to strengthen access pathways to CF care. The role will
also understand the end-to-end access pathways in CF to seek for value-added
solutions which unlock barriers and increase value in CF care.
This is a hybrid role based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply strong analytical skills on scenario analysis and planning exercises to
drive access strategies and solutions to maximize patients access to Vertexs
portfolio.
Develop CF value proposition under different perspectives (payers, policymakers,
regulators, CF community) to drive external engagement.
In collaboration with international HEOR team, develop pricing and reimbursement
dossiers, cost-effectiveness model adaptations and HEOR tools to reimbursement
plans.
Ensure training on payer materials including product value proposition, scientific
evidence and value story for cross-functional teams.
Coordinate access key tactics post-reimbursement in a State level to unlock access
barriers and maximize number patients on CF reimbursed treatments.
Work closely to medical team to generate evidence to support the access plans and
commercial team to maximize patient access to Vertexs portfolio in a States
Secretariats and CF centres level.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional team and ensure market access
perspective is adequately represented in business discussions.
Monitors key performance indicators related to Pricing and Market Access
activities and keeps metric source databases updated.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of HTA environment, pricing and access pathways.
Navigate through complex scenarios, analyze and make recommendations.
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to drive decisions based on data.
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.
Creativity and address challenges through innovation.
Workload management to meet deadlines under challenging time constraints.
Ability to understand the organization's strategy and apply to product pricing and
access strategies.
Fluent English and Portuguese.
Office-based hybrid position, required 3 days/week in the office
The role requires a 30% travel mainly nationally.
Education and Experience:
Degree in sciences, business administration, health policy, health economic or
other relevant qualification
Experience in pricing, HEOR and access strategies
Deep understanding of HTA, payer environment and health system needs
Experience with pricing and reimbursement dossier submissions and
post-reimbursement tactics
