As the Product Design Team Manager at Shopee, you will be responsible for managing a team of product designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and user needs, and leverage various product design methodologies and techniques to ideate, validate, and launch products that meet customer needs. Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of product designers to develop and implement design strategies that align with business objectives and user needs; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data analysts, and business teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative design solutions; Apply various product design methodologies and techniques such as design thinking, rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and user research to ideate, validate, and launch products that meet customer needs; Ensure consistency and quality across all products and platforms by developing and proposing design systems, guidelines, and processes with local and regional team; Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, and share insights with the team to improve design processes and workflows.
