The OpportunityAs a Product Lead, youll play a central role in defining and delivering world-class products. The Product Lead uncovers the why and works closely with engineering teams to successfully bring our partners visions to life. So in your cover letter, we encourage you to reflect on diversity, equity, and inclusion.Responsibilities Build strong client relationships and help them define product vision and strategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to iteratively define and build solutions that meet the needs of the end-user and businessElicit requirements from stakeholders and create user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering teamManage complex requirement backlogs that consider multiple platformsBuild a shared understanding of product requirements among all stakeholders (internal and external)Collaborate with product designers to create best-in-class user experiences that are feasible and within technical constraintsContribute to a strategic product roadmap that considers business value, technical lift, dependencies, and time and budget constraintsFacilitate conversations around scope management and feature prioritizationWork alongside engineers to define system architecture and data flows to guide feature developmentManage and document technical dependencies and API needs Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the software development industry as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, Requirements Manager, or related position Experience working with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements for at least one of the following platforms: iOS, Android, WebStrong documentation and technical writing skills, with familiarity working with user stories, acceptance criteria, flow diagrams, user personas, API documentation, and other requirements documentation methodsProven ability to develop and champion a product vision and to keep teams focused on high-priority work while avoiding gold-plating or scope creepAbility to communicate clearly, confidently, and tactfully and to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiencesKnowledge of frontend and backend technologies (i.e. web/native apps, APIs, databases) and the risks and constraints of different technologiesExcellent user experience intuition and ability to develop empathy for users of your productSelf-starter who takes initiative in solving problems and can self-manage commitments and deadlines Even if you dont have expertise in all of the qualifications listed, we value new perspectives and backgrounds and encourage you to apply.
