As part of the Bentley Sales Desk and reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Desk,
the Product Sales Representative drives business growth in new and existing
accounts and provides services, including opportunity- and quote-creation as well
as clean-order submissions for Product Sales colleagues and other teams. This
sales revenue-generating role covers perpetual licenses, CSS, and Virtuoso
subscription sales. Successful Product Sales Representatives will thrive in a
fast-paced environment, are self-motivated, and ideally have inside-sales
experience.
Your Day-to-Day:
Generate, drive, and close opportunities via regular contact with existing and new
users
Assist users in choosing the most appropriate Bentley commercial offering (e.g.,
perpetual licenses, CSS, Reinstatements, and Virtuoso subscriptions)
Reach out to Virtuosity user base to ensure satisfaction with commercial offering
and to maximize the Virtuosity-resubscription rate
Manage a high volume and velocity of quote requests from different internal teams,
effecting an efficient quote-to-cash workflow
Facilitate and triage internal legal, Deal Desk cases, and proposal requests
Discover additional solution needs and engage appropriate resources
Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of Bentley's current commercial
programs, offerings, and internal processes
Lead CSS replenishments, educate users on the program and negotiate their funding
amounts
Support/run sales campaigns
What You Bring to The Team:
Extremely effective communicator with excellent English writing and speaking
skills; capable of interacting with colleagues and account contacts at every level
and across every business line. Business fluency in Brazilian Portuguese highly
preferred; ideally combined with business fluency in Spanish
Organized, reliable, and accountable self-starter with very strong interpersonal
skills and a pleasant, non-intrusive manner, with a positive attitude, an eye for
detail, combining curiosity and resourcefulness
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, business, business administration, or
equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Minimum one year of experience with a software company in inside sales, financial
operations, and/or customer service, with a flair for communicating with accounts
and maximizing account outcomes and revenue
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities.
Expert knowledge of Office 365, including Visio and SharePoint; comfortable
learning new technologies and tools
