Description and Requirements
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join the
Digital Workplace Solutions Delivery Team within the Lenovo Services & Solutions
Group (SSG).
This role will reside within the Americas Project Management Office. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for leading the successful execution of complex
projects in accordance with quality standards, while ensuring client satisfaction.
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role, maintaining effective communication
between our clients and internal teams including Presales, Sales, Fulfillment, and
Service Delivery Partners.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with
client requirements and organizational goals. Project accounting experience is
required.
Foster a collaborative and positive project team culture.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and
deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, considering
project complexities and potential challenges.
Provide strong leadership to project teams, motivating and guiding them to meet
project milestones, while delivering high quality results.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and
providing regular project updates.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and
implementing resolution strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices and policies, aligned with
PMO Governance and Compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience (7+ years) in a customer-facing project manager role managing
complex IT projects from initiation to closure.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and team management skills.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management tools and methodologies and Microsoft Office
Suite.
PMP, or equivalent project management certification.
Fluent in Portuguese, Advanced English and Spanish, verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing technical projects for enterprise clients in areas such as
HCI, VDI, data migration, Cloud, etc.
Experience in data center hardware deployments
Experience with MS Teams, Dynamics 365.
Experience with third party collaboration and sub-contracted projects.
