eero is looking for a highly focused QA Engineer to work on critical web application testing projects that keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the QA team validate software releases and ensure a great customer experience. You'll work closely across multi-functional development teams to help discover, recreate, and debug issues. You will have the opportunity to contribute and grow our web automation code and framework. Key job responsibilities - Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end - Create and execute test plans for existing products and features - Work with development teams to define testing protocol for new features as they are designed and developed - Provide additional cross functional test support for other team members - Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability - Providing detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Virtual Location - BRA - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent - 3+ years in a Quality assurance role out of which at least 2+ years are in testing mobile applications. - Combination of solid in-depth knowledge of quality assurance, solid understanding of web/mobile technologies, as well as knowledge of automation tools. - Passion for all things mobile - especially applications on phones and tablets - Experience working on different applications and operating systems: iOS and various flavors of Android - Experience manually building apps onto the simulator or devices with Xcode and Android Studio - Ability to work independently and within a testing team
