Vaga de R&D Senior Engineer – Technical Owner

We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer and technical owner for an autonomous inspection solutions for conveyors in a multinational energy and automation company, your role is to maintain, evolve and further innovate it in their industry-leading product portfolio. In this role, you will lead the internal and external partners on the product maintenance, enhancements, and evolution in alignment with the Product Manager strategy and view.Responsabilities:Coordinate and supervise the R&D activities with both internal and external partners.Manage technical requirements, design architecture & design implementation.Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions and development plans.Support to refine market requirements into user stories and product features, in collaboration with the responsible Product Manager.Progress reporting and cost control for the assigned tasks and sprints.Develop your knowledge and skillset into long-term technical product ownership.Ensure software, electronic and mechanic qualityProvides post-production training and support for internal end users (Level 3 & 4).Create and update solution documentation (e.g., user and fabrication manuals) in English.Experience:Completed degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Experience in leading R&D projects. Previous experience in engineering and development of mechatronic systems.Knowledge in Microelectronics, electronic circuit design, PCB design, and wiring.Experience in CAD, parts sourcing, and fabrication methods.Basic knowledge in software development .Experience working in an Agile environment.Fluent English.Independent worker and fast learner, creative thinker.Committed to quality and results, taking ownership and responsibilityOther:Ideally, experience in programming of embedded systems on industrial grade target platforms.Ideally, knowledge in Python, .NET, C#, C, Node (Angular) as well as in MS Office.Ideally, knowledge in Linux, Docker and GitIdeally, knowledge in PLC programming languages (IEC 61131-3).Ideally, knowledge in Cyber Security standards and requirements.
