How you´ll make an impact
Serves as main point of contact within own business unit for assigned territory
and/or customer base utilizing good understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or
cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products
as it relates to the business.
Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other
influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing
influencing skills on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy.
Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and
identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and
executing short-term region plan to achieve region objectives.
Sell and monitor sales evolution in her/his territory by planning, using different
tools provided by the BU and interacting with established accounts and
stakeholders to achieve individual sales target, price goals and other needed
activities according to Business Unit strategy.
Execute in-service of products and ensure that customers are provided with
adequate technical and clinical training; is present during use of products in the
Hospitals different sites (OR, ICU, EPLab, etc) to ensure correct and adequate
use of products.
What you will need
3+ years experience in sales of medical devices (not only OPME)
Preferable previous experience in hospital sites
Preferable experience in new technology introduction/innovation
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Nursing, physiotherapist, Pharmacist, etc
MBA/Post Graduation in business is a plus
What else will help you
Good knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor
products
Understands BU strategy, selling model, medical devices industry and selling
environment of own region.
Develops understanding of assigned accounts and their challenges.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Understands customer needs and how to position the product for that need.
Builds productive relationships and ongoing interactions with relevant
stakeholders.
Understand clinical papers and use knowledge to influence sales.
