We are looking for a Senior Associate Billing Analyst in Brazil to work with our
NORAM and Europe team, supporting our processes and improving our data accuracy.
The primary responsibility of the Senior Associate Billing Operations Analyst is
to support with analysing the accuracy of data related to our NORAM billing
process. The Senior Associate Billing Operations Analyst supports the
optimisation, implementation and reporting on all billing activities. This is done
by auditing data sets extracted from the billing system and review the information
for accuracy.
What you'll be doing
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the implementation billing operations to maximise effectiveness and
accuracy
Audit integrity and accuracy of data entered into the system
Monitor operation of the billing system
Contribute to the design of solutions to billing issues
Work with the system design team to implement new features
Contribute to the improvement for the billing operations processes and procedures
and implement approved recommendations
Reconcile financial information, files and records to ensure the availability and
accuracy of the information
Implement written policies and procedures that govern billing operations
Prepare financial and statistical reports
Validate billing transactions on the billing system
Investigate and analyse any collection matters raised by management
Supply monthly billing packs for relevant managers
Proactively provide technical support to billing department and operate all
billing systems
Monitor and correct data incongruences that could directly impact the quality and
billing operations processes
Ensure that system wide reconciliations and assurance checks are carried out
accurately and timeously
Proactively support continuous process improvement projects related to billing
controls, quality and efficiency, and automation opportunities
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Knowledge in financial analysis, accounting principles and data management
Process orientated with an understanding of both financial and operational
controls
Ability to interpret complex processes, policies and financial and legal documents
Specialist at gathering, analysing and evaluating facts
Proactive in approach and meticulous attention to detail
Knowledge of billing and financial concepts
Ability to utilise key systems and tools related to billing operations
Understanding and knowledge of datamining, management and analysis techniques
Required Experience:
Moderate level of demonstrated experience as a Billing Systems Analyst, Billing
Operations Practitioner or Specialist
Fluent English
Completed graduation in correlated areas
Moderate level of demonstrated experience auditing processes, financial
information and systems
Moderate level of experience working with the MS Office Suite, including MS Excel
and MS Word
Moderate level of hands on billing application knowledge and experience
